There are two kinds of microdermabrasion kits. The first type of kit is the one that comes with a wand similar to the one used by professionals. This wand usually includes special attachments, a special scrub or gel and a microdermabrasion guide.

The second type is a cream that can be applied with your fingers or a washcloth.
